Louise Ogilvy

Founder

Founder, Louise, has been working in the recruitment industry for over 24 years setting up her first recruitment agency in 2000.

During that time, she has worked with a number of business owners and founders to take them from a one or two person partnership to a successful team.

One of her most proudest achievements is helping to scale a developer tools startup from 16 to a team of 45 within 24 months.

Identifying talent is just one small part of the service that she and the team at Propeller-tech offer to their clients. With an average turnaround time of just 48 hours from taking a brief to providing a first fully vetted candidate, they have enabled multiple startups to achieve their product roadmap on time.

When she's not deep in a recruitment search, you'll find Louise at the gym, out walking her two beautiful dogs (if you really want to win her over, dog pictures are always welcome) or managing a busy recruiter and Mum life.

Ben has been working in tech recruitment for over 13 years, specializing in hiring across all areas of technology, with a particular focus on software engineering roles globally.

Throughout this time, Ben has helped some of the best startups scale from early-stage teams to fully-fledged engineering powerhouses, while also partnering with larger, international companies to secure world-class talent.

One of Ben’s proudest achievements is helping high-growth startups attract and retain top engineering talent, enabling them to build cutting-edge products and hit ambitious milestones. Beyond simply identifying talent, Ben takes a consultative approach, working closely with founders, hiring managers, and leadership teams to develop tailored hiring strategies that align with their company’s growth trajectory.

When not deep in sourcing top-tier tech talent, you’ll find Ben indulging in a lifelong passion for sports, particularly football, or spending time having fun with his 3-year-old daughter. Whether it's helping companies find their next engineering leader or kicking a ball around in the park, Ben brings energy, commitment, and a people-first approach to everything they do.

Becca Combe

Lead Recruiter

Starting her recruitment journey in 2012, Becca has helped Founders, Entrepreneurs, and CTOs scale their teams across the US, UK, Europe, and Africa.

Specializing in tech-driven roles—such as machine learning, AI, backend development, software development, analytics, and data science—she works with startups at every stage, from hiring their first employee to building global teams.

One of Becca’s standout achievements was helping a Fintech startup scale out their technology business, whom is now on track to become a multi-million-dollar company. Collaborating closely with the co-founder and CTO, she attracted top talent! The company’s recognition in MIT Technology Review’s “50 Smartest Companies” (2017) and Financial Times’ “Africa’s Fastest Growing Companies” (2022).

Now based in Mexico, Becca blends her passion for recruitment with a love for Freediving and sunshine. For her, recruitment is more than filling roles—it’s about building long-term, high-performing teams that drive innovation and success.
