About the Role
As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll help architect and scale the real-time systems that power millions of AI-driven phone conversations. From low-latency voice pipelines to ML inference infrastructure and enterprise-grade telephony integrations, your work is foundational to system performance, uptime, and customer experience.
What You’ll Do

Design distributed systems: Build scalable infrastructure on Kubernetes to support real-time, high-volume voice processing with tight latency and reliability constraints

Support ML workloads: Develop and optimize infrastructure for training and real-time inference across regions

Integrate with telephony systems: Ensure seamless connections with enterprise-grade SIP trunks, VoIP systems, and call routing networks

Drive observability and resilience: Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response practices to ensure 24/7 reliability

Balance new and legacy tech: Solve novel challenges that emerge at the intersection of traditional telephony and modern AI/streaming architectures

What Makes You a Great Fit
- 5+ years of experience building and scaling cloud-native infrastructure (AWS/GCP preferred)
- Strong grasp of system fundamentals—TLS, load balancing strategies, DNS, etc.—and a desire to go deep
- Real-time systems experience: streaming, high-throughput, or low-latency services
- Comfortable in startup environments—adaptable, hands-on, and execution-focused
- Technically opinionated but collaborative—you’re able to advocate while finding alignment
- Familiarity with tools like Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Cloudflare, HAProxy, Datadog, Go, TypeScript, and NVIDIA hardware
Bonus Points For
- Experience with telephony systems (SIP, VoIP, WebRTC)
- Background in ML infrastructure or GPU-powered inference
- Familiarity with audio/video processing in real-time environments
