It seems that everyone has a podcast nowadays with a recorded 3 million active podcasts (according to explodingtopics.com).  As a result, it can be really hard to filter through the noise and find one that really interests you!

We did a bit of research into the most popular tech industry podcasts, gave some a listen ourselves and came up with a shortlist.  Here they are with links to the podcast homepage:-

“The Vergecast” by The Verge:

We love this one!  This podcast covers the latest news and trends in the world of tech, including gadgets, consumer electronics and internet culture. It features interviews with industry experts, in-depth discussions on current tech topics, and analysis of the latest tech products and services.

“The AI Alignment Podcast” by the Future of Life Institute:

This podcast delves into the ethical and societal implications of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML).  It discusses topics such as AI safety, bias in AI algorithms, responsible development and deployment of AI.  If you’re interested in understanding how today’s technological advancements will impact humanity’s future, then this is the one for you!

“WorkLife with Adam Grant” by TED:

A fascinating podcast hosted by organisational psychologist Adam Grant, this one explores the intersection of work and life.  Adam Grant ‘takes you inside the minds of some of the world’s most unusual professionals to explore the science of making work not suck.’  It features interviews with notable leaders and researchers, providing practical insights and strategies for creating a positive and productive work environment.

“StartUp Therapy” by StartUp Therapy:

This podcast has been a firm favourite of ours for years.  Titled as ‘The No BS version of startup life you’ve been looking for’ it offers candid conversations with successful startup founders, investors, and other industry experts, sharing their personal stories, experiences, and lessons learned from the world of entrepreneurship.

“UKTN The Podcast” by UKTN:

This podcast is presented by Jane Wakefield (technology journalist) who sits down with influential and inspiring business founders.  It covers real experiences of building a business from scratch, the social and economic challenges encountered and honest discussions about failure and how they can often be motivators for growth and success.  We love this one too!
